J Maxine MacGwyre is the practice owner of Woodside Studios, She is both a Licensed Esthetician, and Certified Nutrition Specialist. Maxine has been focusing on sustaining healthful beauty since she earned her BS in Nutrition from California State Los Angeles in the early 1980's. Maxine is a requested speaker on the topics of healthy aging, nutrition and skin health. She has appeared on Successful Aging hosted by Independent Talk KFNX 1100. She has also been featured in the modern aging publication, produced by ZoeLife a division of Glencroft, Center for Modern Aging.
Maxine is a native of Los Angeles, California and also enjoyed living in Manhattan for several years. In her free time she enjoys the company of good friends, live Blues, Pilates and hiking with her rescue dog, Athena.
